Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipstick trivial Review & Swatches
Hello my lovely people out there!!!
You guys know my love for lipsticks. So I am back with another lipstick review. From the title you must have known that I am going to review Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipstick. I got this in my Sephora give me some nudes lip kit. I am head over heels about this lipstick since the moment I wore it. This urban decay Vice Liquid Lipstick is available in 30 shades and the one I am going to review is the shade Trivial. So let’s get into the review
Price: $18. But now sale it on sale for just $9 on Sephora.
Availability: Sephora. Both online and in stores
My experience with Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipstick
How’s the packaging?
If I had to tell it in one word then I would say “Classy”. But that’s not how I am supposed to review right *hehehe* So it comes in a transparent plastic tube with a metallic cap where the brand name is carved. You can see the shade name at the bottom of the tube.
It has a flocked paddle applicator making the lipstick application easier. I personally love this kind of applicator than the dough tip applicators.
How’s the formula of Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipstick?
It says that it is a liquid lipstick but I would say it is more of a creamy moussy liquid lipstick. It glides on the lips smoothly and turns matte within 30 seconds. The flat applicator prevents me from messing up my lips
It is so lightweight that you will not even feel like you have something on your lips. I am totally loving its formula.
Oh yeah the formula is hydrating and not gonna make your lips dry or accentuate your lip lines.
How’s the pigmentation of Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipstick
Two swipes of this lipstick and you will get an opaque pink lip. Yes, it is well pigmented.
How long does will it stay on the lips?
If you have just water and coffee then the staying power of this lipstick would be 6-7 hours. And if you are having a meal then it would last for 4-5 hours.
Does it become patchy?
No. This is the best thing about this urban decay Vice Liquid Lipstick. It didn’t look patchy even after wearing it for hours. With time it may fade but it will not make your lips look patchy.
Does it transfer?
This lipstick claims to be waterproof and I second that. I can very confidently tell that it is 100% transfer proof. Once it turns matte this is not gonna transfer at all.
How’s the shade Trivial?
The Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipstick in the shade trivial is a pink shade/ pinky nude with a warm undertone. It has a slight metallic finish to it. This shade would suit fair to medium skin tones. It’s that pink which you can wear in the daytime and also at night with smokey eyes.
The metallic finish gives a fancy look to it
How’s the final finish of Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipstick?
This lipstick in the shade Trivial gives beautiful pinkish nude lips with a hint of shimmery metallic finish. The brand claims that the formula of this Lipstick is loaded with pearls and glitter. And that’s the reason it gives a metalized shades. It gives the satin look to the lips but the lips are completely matte. So basically what it looks like is not what you will feel *sounding contradicting* It’s that kind of different/ weird combo.
I use it alone or mix it with Sugar Peachy little liars lipstick. This lipstick has clearly made its way to my favorite pinky nude after Sugar vivid peachy little liars.
Amazing things about Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipstick
Waterproof & transfer proof
It has the right amount of metallic finish to it
Trivial is a beautiful pinky nude shade
Does not make the lips dry or patchy
None. None. None!
Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipstick has one of the best formulations. If you have a fair to medium skin tone and if you can invest then I would highly recommend you to try it. If not the shade Trivial, try some other shade that would suit your skin tone. But do try. This matte lipstick giving satin look has a mild metallic finish making it look fancy yet simple (particularly this pinky nude shade Trivial)
