Hello my lovely people out there!!!
Sick of hair fall, dandruff, and dry scalp. Are you searching for an easy yet effective hair care routine to follow? Then you are reading the right article. This is my personal hair care routine which I am currently following and I am very happy with the results. I have tried many oils and shampoos over the years but the results were not satisfying, so I kept trying out different routines. But then I found out this hair care routine in the process of trial and error which actually satisfied me and showed quite impressive results.
I am genetically blessed with straight and silky hair (grateful about it) but the one I am going to share with you all works well for all hair types. These are very simple and do not require much of efforts to follow. Almost all the products that I use and which I am going to suggest are completely safe as they contain natural herbal ingredients.
Things you need to give your hair a beautiful and healthy look are a good branded
Oiling your hair is the most important thing to do when it comes to maintaining healthy hair. No matter you have an oily scalp or a dry one you should strictly stick to oiling habit. This is the best way you can nourish your scalp which in turn will nourish your roots.
If you have dry scalps then consider that oiling your hair is as important as breathing. Oiling not only nourishes the scalp but it also helps in preventing many problems related to hair such as dandruff, dry hair, dry scalp, hair fall and many more.
I oil my hair a night before when I am planning to wash my hair so that it is absorbed well into the roots. For the past few years, I am using Parachute Advanced Scalp Therapie as my regular oil. You can find the details about this oil in my previous review Post
This oil contains natural ingredients and extra supplements and works very well when it comes to controlling hair fall.
I love this oil and cannot switch to any other oils. The best thing about this oil is that it does not have any side effect which means that even you can try it without any fear. Even if it does not work the way it worked for me at least you be sure that it will not cause extra hair fall.
UPDATE (2018): I am using satthwa Premium hair oil for almost 2 years now and I could see a good change in my hair. It helps me get rid of the dry and itchy scalp, hydrates my hair really well. I would HIGHLY recommend it to all. (Read full review- Satthwa Premium Hair Oil Review| Best hair oil for hair fall and dandruff
The method I follow to oil my hair is
Pour the oil into my palm
Warm it up by gently rubbing it with both my palms
Massage it well into the scalp in a circular motion. Because only if the blood circulation is proper in the scalp, our hair will grow faster and stay stronger.
Repeat the process until I am satisfied
Oil the rest of my hair
Lastly I like to use more oil onto my hair tips
Hair tips tend to dry up sooner than other parts of the hair. This is due to friction caused between the hair tip and the dress you wear. This is another reason why the tips become brittle and you get split ends.

After oiling your hair the next thing you should to is shampooing. If you are not able to oil your hair in the night you can oil it 2-3 hours before shampooing too. Shampooing keeps your hair and scalp clean and healthy.
The shampoo I use is SBL’s Arnica Montana Herbal shampoo. I have experimented a lot of shampoos but none where as impressive as this shampoo. This is an herbal shampoo and finally I have settled with this particular shampoo. I would suggest you to try this one.
I was dealing with hair fall and dandruff problem and was tired of trying out anti-dandruff shampoos. I just lost hope and then my friend suggested me SBL’s Arnica Montana Herbal shampoo which turned out be a life changer for me.
This shampoo is a natural blend of nutritive herbal ingredients. It removes dandruff and maintains the natural oil balance as it claims. This again does not have any side effects on hair as it is a homeopathic shampoo.
It has a good fragrance and conditions the hair. When I am in a hurry, at times I skip conditioning part as this shampoo makes your hair softer and does not show any drying effect on hair.
If you are in India you can get it in any nearby homeopathic pharmacy.
Another shampoo which you can try is Ayush anti-hairfall bhringaraj shampoo. Both are really effective however y first preference for dandruff would be Arnica Montana.
It is not advisable to wash your hair every day. I wash my hair twice or thrice a week.
It depends upon your hair type to decide how many times a week you can wash your hair. But do not wash it daily.
The next step is conditioning your hair. Conditioners make your hair soft and frizz free. Everybody should condition their hair but if you have dry hair then this is a compulsory step for you guys. They instantly show the effect on your hair which is one thing that I like a lot about it.
There are many conditioners I have used but few conditioners resulted in hair loss. I currently use either L’oreal Paris Nutri-Gloss Mirror Shine Conditioner or Sun Silk Lusciously Thick & Long conditioner
Conditioners are meant for hair, not for your scalp. Do not use it on your scalp.

Okay let me give you a quick tip about how to dry your hair. When your hair is wet do not wrap your hair with a towel instead use a cotton T-shirt when it is wet. Using towel pulls your hair and when the hair it wet it is way easier to break and fall.
Using a cotton T-shirt, squeeze off the excess water but never roll your wet hair either with a towel or with T-shirt.
Allow your hair to air dry. If you have an appointment then you can go for hair dryers else let it air dry. This is my most preferable method to follow.
Hair dryers damage your hair and cause hair fall on a long run.
After washing your hair with shampoo and conditioner, it is the time for using a serum. Yes just like your face, your hair also needs a serum to manage a healthy hair. If you have dry, frizzy and rough hair then definitely you should go for using serum. This adds gloss and shine to your hair as a result of which your hair will look silky and full of life.
Once my hair is dry, I take two drops of serum onto my hand and run over my hair I use Jovees Hair serum Grape Seed and Almond because this contains all the natural plant-based ingredients and it gives my hair a very finished look. If you are styling your hair then serums help in making the process easy.

Combing your hair properly is the key to maintaining your hair fine-looking. Never brush your hair when it is wet. I repeat NEVER BRUSH YOUR HAIR WHEN IT IS WET. Because this is one of the main reasons for hair damage and hair loss.
You should always use a good quality comb and hairbrush. Choose a comb with a good quality plastic. I would suggest you to start combing your hair from the bottom following it to the top. This reduces hair fall. Trust me, it really does. Try out and see the result today itself. Let me know in the mail or in the comments.
I use comb from a Brand called Roots Hair Comb by Roots professional. This does not hurt the scalp as the teeth are soft and massages the scalp for better blood circulation. It is available in various size with various price. I use detangling brush also from the same brand. You can try this as it used by most of all the salon professionals.
