If you are facing these problems then do not worry. The tips which I am going to give you will help you in some way or the other for sure. And to all those people who don't want to face it, it is better that you too follow these steps. Because prevention is better than cure. So what are we waiting for? Let's get staaaarted💃🏻

tips for winter hair care

 Hot oil treatment

This is the best thing you can do your hair in winter. Dry hair means your hair is craving for moisture. So give moisture to your dry thirsty hair through a hot oil treatment. And by hot oil, I mean warm oil and very hot. This treatment will prevent dry scalp, hair fall and dandruff * yaayyy so many issues solved by a single treatment👍🏻* Give your hair a hot oil treatment atleast once a week. This is one of the simplest and easiest ways to keep your hair healthy.

Oils that can be used for this treatment are extra virgin olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil and Avacado oil.

Do not wash your hair often

Yes as I said in my winter skincare post not to wash you face often, I would like to let you know that washing your hair often will make your scalp drier. So it is better to go longer between washing your hair. If your hair is getting greasy then go for dry shampoo or tie your hair in a braid or in a bun.

Conditioner is a must

Every time you shampoo your hair, don't forget to condition it. Apply conditioner for atleast 2-3 minutes followed by the shampoo and wash it off. You may be skipping this step sometimes but during winter I will advise you never to skip this. This will ensure that your hair is nourished, frizz-free and manageable. Use Leave-in conditioner

Using leave-in conditioner will prevent your hair tips from being dry. And this is one essential thing that you should include in your hair care regimen during winters. Hair tips tend to get drier during usual days and do I even have to tell will it be normal during winters? Off course the hair ends are going be lifeless and drier and may also result in split end IF we do not take care of them properly. So here comes the leave-in conditioners to rescue us from those hair problems. All you have to do is spray them on your dampen Hair, and the rest of the thing leave in conditioners will manage. They give hydration and locks that hydration into the hair as a result of which you hair remains moisturized and also gives shine to the hair.

There are leave in conditioners available in the market or you can make one at home also.

Say no to irons

I know this tip can be a bit hard to follow. But irons and hair dryers will absorb the moisture of your hair which in turn will again result in dry hair. One thing that you can do if you cannot avoid hot irons is to use heat protectant spray.

Cover your hair

To protect your hair from cold air and the wind the best thing you could do is to cover it up. You can use a scarf or a cap to cover your hair.
