We need a good moisturizing cream for a lot of purposes, some of them being as a regular day or night cream, pre-makeup base or something to apply after a good facial scrub. Finding a good cream that does all this wonder is very difficult, especially if you have oily-combination type of skin. I have tried a lot of cream from both High and low-end brands, finally, my research stopped on Olay Moisturising cream. It comes in two variants- one is cream base and the other one comes in a liquid base. Practically, oily skin people should avoid using a creamy base one, but I took a bolder step that time :p and came up with the creamy texture one. Read on to find out what factors made me fall in love with this cream from Olay.

My experience with Olay Moisturizing cream

Packaging:

The cream comes in a very simple packaging. This is an average size jar with a huge round black in colour, screw lid. All the necessary information about the product is written on the outer cardboard box and very little information can be found on the jar itself. The jar is cream-white in colour. Overall the packaging is sturdy and leak proof, thus making it easy to carry anywhere!

Texture and Consistency of Olay Moisturizing cream

The product comes in a very thick cream texture. It is white in color with a tint of light pink in it. Inspite of being thick, it blends easily and gets absorbed within minutes.

Fragrance of Olay Moisturizing cream

This has a wonderful floral fragrance that stays for almost an hour after the application. Most of the people love the fragrance more than the product’s efficiency! If you are a scented cream fan, then I am sure you would love this cream.

Hydration and Effectiveness of Olay Moisturizing cream

A small amount of this cream- almost a pea size is more than enough to cover my entire face. It has a super- bendable texture that spreads easily without giving me that heavy cream feeling. It gives an instant boost of hydration that stays really long, almost the entire day!

It does not make my skin look greasy or oily, provided if I use a small amount of it. I have been using this cream for over a year now and yes my skin texture has definitely improved. My face is much smoother than what it was a year back. I use it below my primer, to get that perfect amount of moisturization before makeup.

Olay is being used by a lot of women worldwide and no doubt this till date is my best anytime wear cream 🙂

Final Verdict

A good moisturising lotion should be a part of everyone’s beauty regime. Olay cream seems to suit my regime perfectly. It has a very good amount of hydration for my skin type without making it oily or greasy. It also has a wonderful floral fragrance.

Would I recommend Olay Moisturising cream?

Yes, after almost using it for a year, I totally recommend this fabulous cream by Olay.
