Pixi Eye reflection shadow palette review & swatches | Natural beauty| Reflex light
Hello my lovely people out there!!! 😊
If you’re following me on Instagram then well you would have seen an eye makeup look with this palette. The palette looks gorgeous and a total attention seeker.
I will be reviewing two eyeshadow palettes from Pixi’s Eye reflection shadow palette range
1. Natural beauty
2. Reflex light
Availability: Pixi Website
How’s the packaging of Pixi Eye reflection shadow
They come in good quality and sturdy plastic packaging. They are quite travel friendly and sleek enough to slip inside your handbag too.
How’s the texture and pigmentation of Pixi Eye reflection shadow
Overall the texture of all the shades is soft. Foiled and shimmer shades are buttery soft and creamy.
Pigmentation these eyeshadows is amazing. One swipe and the colour is on. Though some shades are more pigmented than others which I will mention under the swatches. Most of the swatches that you see below are just one swipe swatch
Do they have fall outs?
Some shades do have and some don’t. I can’t say heavy fall outs but a bit and that’s so common with all the brands, right?
How’s is their blending power of Pixi Eye reflection shadow
In one word, I would say FAB. They blend very easily and matte shades do not look chalky too. In fact, the foiled and shimmery shades can blend just with fingers and they won’t even look harsh.
I created a soft goldeny, rose gold mix kind of look with these shadows where I used only my fingers and it turned out to be so beautiful. But then my camera decided not to pick up the colors😑😕 so it didn’t make its way to my grid.
One more thing I noticed is that the shimmery and foiled shades look creamy and more beautiful in real. But in the pics, they look a bit powdery. I have no idea why. The camera does not do justice to the beautiful finish that we get with these shadows.
Swatches of Pixi Eye reflection shadow palette- Reflex light
This palette has beautiful foiled shades which can be used to create heavy looks or you can use just one shade all over your lids for a day look. Their brushes are so soft and blend the shadows really well.
Every single shade is highly pigmented in this palette. The names of all the shaes are mentioned at the back of the pallete. I guess no one is gonna use those names 😛 The shade no 3 (gold foil is not that pigmented compared to others)
Shade four has a beautiful pinky pearl finish
Swatches of Pixi Eye reflection shadow palette- Natural beauty
This palette has a mix of shimmer, foiled and matte shades ranging from rose gold to different shades of brown. Mostly neutral shades and hence the name of this palette is Natural Beauty
Shade number 2 metal mauve is a bit powdery
I totally loved their shades, texture, pigmentations and the ease with which it blends on the lids. If you want to pick any one from the two, I would suggest you to go for the Reflex light palette. Because those shades are more than enough for you to create a wide array of Eye looks for a day, night or even for a party. I am completely drooling over it.
Not just these shadows but to make any eyeshadow last longer, prepare your eyelids first.
Use an eye primer. If you don’t have any then just apply concealer or your foundation on the lids, blend in well and set them with loose powder.
Then start creating any eye look of your choice. This will not only increase the staying power of your eyeshadow but will also help in showing out the right shade of the shadows on the lids
