Hello my lovely people out there!!!
I am back with another few effective ways to combat the pimples. In the part one of this post I have given four ways to get rid of pimples( if you didn’t read that then you can read it HERE) and in this post I am going to give you guys another four different ideas with the help of which you can treat your pimples at home without spending too much money. In fact, some can be found in your kitchen cabinet and if not then I assure that the ingredients which I am going to tell you guys are going to be easily available. I am one among those girls who start panicking even a single pimple pops up (let me know in the comments if you are also like me :P) and tries out different things to get rid of pimples. Generally pimples and acne occur due to various reasons. Some of the reasons are diet, pollution, hormonal imbalance, clogged pores. It is very important for all of us to maintain a good diet and proper hygiene to prevent the recurrence of pimples. And as I always tell drinking lots and lots of water. So let me tell you guys quick and easy ways to get rid of pimples and bid them bye.
Before using any of these, please make sure you are not allergic to any of the ingredients.
Honey and cinnamon
Honey has antioxidant and antibacterial properties. Honey helps in removing excess of oil and dirt leaving the moisturized and also cleanse the pores. They have anti-inflammatory property because of which they reduce the swelling and redness. It helps in drying out the pimples fast. Whereas cinnamon also has anti-inflammatory property so when honey and cinnamon used together they will help in reducing the swelling and treat acne and pimples effectively.
How to apply
Add a pinch of cinnamon to two tablespoons of raw honey. Mix them well and apply it on the pimple or you can also apply it on your full face. I prefer to apply it on my full face because they soothe and calms the skin apart from treating the pimple. Wash them with warm water after 20 minutes. Use this regularly for to get noticeable effects.
Turmeric is well known for their anti-bacterial property. Turmeric powder has been used from ancient days on cuts and wounds to protect them from bacteria and infections. Since they have anti-bacterial property they help in killing the bacteria which are causing the pimple. And turmeric is a very good antioxidant too. They help in reducing inflammation and swelling as well.
How to apply
Make a thick paste of turmeric by mixing it with water. If you have a dry skin try making the paste by mixing turmeric powder with milk. Apply it on your problematic areas and wash it off after 15-20 minutes with warm water. Do not leave the paste for a longer time because there are chances that turmeric stains may remain on your skin.
Neem face packs are famous for treating acne and pimples. But preparing the paste at home is also very easy and freshly prepared masks are way better than the readymade packs. Neem leaves have solutions for all the skin related problems. They are anti-septic, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. They help in treating the pimples and also removes excess oil and dirt from the skin.
How to apply
Grind the neem leaves in a mixer and make them into powder. Then add rose water or normal water to neem leaves powder and make them into a paste. Apply it on your face and wash it off after 20-25 minutes. You will feel refreshed and your pimples are going to reduce very soon.
Basically, aspirin is acetylsalicylic acid and has anti-inflammatory property. So they help in reducing the inflammation and I have also heard that they reduce the pore size.
How to apply
Add few drops of water to aspirin tablet and crush it with the spoon. Apply the aspirin paste on your pimples and leave them for 15-20 minutes and wash them off with warm water.
That’s for today. Hope you liked it. So which of the remedy are you going to try? Do check out the part 1 of this same topic.
