My experience with Ardhana organic chocolate lip balm

Omg the name was appealing and yummy enough for me to go ahead and try this. I personally never tried any chocolate lip balm before plus this was 100% organic, so I couldn’t resist myself from purchasing this. And if you are a chocolate lover like me then you can relate it to me very well I guess. Coming to the packaging, they come in a little glass pot with a golden cap where you can find the brand name. But I always prefer lip balms in a stick form because they are very easy to use and are hygienic also. In fact, this is the first time I have got a lip balm in a tub-like packaging solely because it is a chocolate lip balm? The very first thing I did after opening the chocolate lip balm was I smelled it and I can’t tell you guys it was like a real chocolate. It looked liked a chocolate and also smelled like a chocolate. I was drooling over the smell and then I applied it on my lips and tasted it too? (come on if it is looking and smelling like chocolate how can anyone be without tasting it?) on a side note, yes they had a slight chocolate taste too?. They have a very strong cocoa essence.

They are highly moisturizing as they contain essential oil, shea butter and olive oil. All these ingredients are really good for skin and lips. So they are completely safe for your lips. When you take the chocolate lip balm on your finger they exactly look like melted chocolate and obviously so they are brown in color. But once you apply and blend it on your lips they turn to a transparent, non-tinted lip balm. But sadly I prefer tinted lip balms. They give a similar appearance of an oil or butter on your lips. They are brown in color.  But this is best for using it under any drying matte lipstick. A very little amount is enough for giving a good hydration. The consistency is neither too thick nor too thin.

After blending

You can apply a good amount of this chocolate lip balm before hitting the bed and wake up with moist lips in the mornings. But I would recommend you to use it in little amount during day time else they will look too oily and shiny on lips. They will last for a good 1-1.5 hours, I don’t know maybe they can last more than that too. I always end up licking them? and it was really difficult for me to test their staying power for you guys. If they last for more than that then do let me know I will update my post. And yeah how many of you guys end up tasting lip balms like me??*let me know in the comments below?*

I have always given first preference to organic products and off lately I am much more attracted towards them. I would suggest you beautiful readers also to always choose organic products over chemicals. Because they are safe for the skin and body and on a long run only organic products are going to help you achieve good and healthy skin. This organic chocolate lip balm is really good both in quality and quantity. One pot has 16grams of product and this will last for a very long time.

That is it peeps. This was a new experience for me with this lip balm. I would not say it is excellent but at the same time, I can’t tell it is bad also. It is somewhere in the middle. On a whole, I loved it but would not re-purchase it because they are not in a stick form. I am kind of stuck on that level. Hope you understood what I am actually trying to say 😛 Hope you liked it.
