My daily morning skincare routine for oily acne-prone skin| Get healthy Skin

Hello my lovely people out there!!!

I love trying out different skincare products to know which one would best suit my combination oily skin. Following a good skincare routine is the only way to keep your skin healthy, glowing and beautiful. Nothing happens instantly. Like every other thing, we need to invest time and have the patience to improve our skin and maintain it in a healthy manner. This is the third time I am letting you guys know about my morning skincare routine. Every time when I see good changes after following a routine I think of updating you guys too. Off lately I am completely into products that say matte, oil-free and blemish free *oily skin people can relate with me* And I must say these products are working amazingly well in controlling the excess sebum production. It doesn't mean that the products which I mentioned in my previous morning skincare routine don't work anymore. They are also good but as I said I like changing my products after a month or two. If you have combination to oily skin or acne prone skin then the products which I am currently using on daily basis may work well for you too. The products mentioned below are unisex can be used by both men and women. The So without any deal lets me share it with you guys.

Morning skincare routine Step 1- Cleansing

herb day 365 cleansing foam lemon review, the face shop face wash, khadija beauty

The very first step in morning skincare routine is washing face with a good cleanser. I use The Face Shop Herb Day 365 Cleansing foam as my cleanser. It removes all of the oil and dirt from my face without making my face dry. It gives my face a matte, soft and cleansed feel. This is the best face wash I have ever tried. I love La Roche Posay cleansing foam but now I love this a bit more than that. This lemon variant has also helped me in toning my skin. Every time I wash my face with this I could see my pores size getting reduced. It keeps my face oily free for a good 3-4 and sometimes 2-3 hours. It depends on the products that you use after washing your face. Read full review---The Face Shop Herb Day 365 Cleansing Foam Lemon Review

Morning skincare routine Step 2- Toning

Toner helps in removing the remaining gunk from the face and along with that, it provides some extra skin benefits. Some toners are for controlling acne while some are for shrinking the pores. You can pick one as per your skin concern. I have been loving La Roche-Posay Effaclar Lotion Astringent Micro-Exfoliant as my toner for the past two months.

It contains salicylic acid which helps in drying out the acne. This La Roche-Posay Effaclar toner does more than what it claims. It's been almost two months since I am using this range and my most favorite among the three is this toner. This has actually toned my skin and I could feel that my overall complexion has also improved after using it. It deeply cleanses the pores and removes all of the dirt and you will need only a few drops of it.  If you are working women or go out every single day then this is a must-have product for you.  I can't stress enough to let you guys know how amazing it is! This La Roche-Posay Effaclar toner contains micro-exfoliant which helps in removing the superficial dead cells thereby fading out the scars.

Morning skincare routine Step 3- Serum

So this is a one step extra that I have included in my morning skin care routine. I have been trying to follow Korean skin care regimen which you must be knowing if you are a regular reader of Khadija beauty and following me on my Instagram. Koreans use serum to lock the moisture inside the skin so that their skin remains hydrated and healthy. The serum that I am using these days is Neulii Tea Tree BHA blemish control serum(Korean Brand).

It keeps my oil at bay for a good 3 hours. I did notice something here. At night I just use the serum and not my SPF. So when I am not layering it up with a sunscreen this Tea Tree BHA serum keep my face oil free for 4-5 hours. Like seriously I couldn't find any traces of oil around my T-zone for good 4-5 hours. But during the day when I apply sunscreen after serum, I could notice some traces of oil after 3 hours. Overall this serum works well when it comes to oil control. I was smitten by its hydrating power and the way it controlled my oil. This Tea Tree BHA serum has tea tree which again works wonderfully as an anti-bacterial agent. So BHA cleanses the pores by breaking the oily substance and removing the dead cells, and tea tree help in preventing bacterial growth. The only thing which I didn't like about this is that alcohol is mentioned on their ingredient list. Read full review---Neulii Tea Tree BHA Blemish Control Serum review| RoseRoseShop

Morning skincare routine Step 4-Moisturizing

plum green tea mattifying moisturizer, khadija beauty

Finding a right moisturizer for sensitive and oily skin is really a very big deal. And after trying a lot of moisturizers I finally found something which is suiting my skin type currently. Since I have oily skin and I am using the serum which hydrates my skin really well most of the time I skip this step :P. Because the sunscreen which I am using also hydrates my skin. But at times I use moisturizer and the one I am using is Plum green tea mattifying moisturizer. It blends into the skin very easily and immediately. And while blending it gets absorbed into my skin and makes my face Matte and oil-free instantly. The formulation is indeed great. It contains glycolic acid helps in preventing acne and is 100% vegan. It is free from parabens, phthalates, propylene glycol, SLS, DEA, PABA and animal derived ingredients. This really hydrates the skin and I love using this under my makeup. Morning skincare routine Step 5- Sunscreen

I can't stress enough how important it is to use sunscreen. Even if you are staying at home don't ever forget to wear a sunscreen. You may not see the results immediately but on a long run your skin will really thank you and you will thank yourself for using it. I have seen my skin transforming after using sunscreen regularly. This is applicable for both men and women. If you regularly use sunscreen you will have less chance of getting acne, black heads and other skin problems.

  3. It’s a very useful post for the oily skin beauties. As I have combination to oily skin, your suggestions will help me a lot. I wish to try all of them, though that sunscreen gel I’ve been using since ages😁😁.

  4. Wow, you have such a simplified & sorted skin routine. I always keep my self switching between a lot of stuff. I just can’t stay loyal to single product for long.
